Laid-off workers and other job seekers can create lists of local businesses and personalize their career exploration by setting work preferences with the new features on www.myskillsmyfuture.org, the transerable skills website from CareerOneStop and the U.S. Department of Labor. Check out the 'Find businesses' and 'Narrow your Results' options today!
New ReEmployment Portal
The updated Worker ReEmployment website offers laid-off workers a one-stop site for employment, training, and financial help after a layoff. Visit www.CareerOneStop.org/Reemployment to learn about Unemployment Insurance, find links to additional benefits and assistance, and locate local job search and training assistance.
My Next Move from O*NET
The U.S. Department of Labor announces the launch of My Next Move (www.MyNextMove.gov), an online tool to help young adults, students, and other first-time workers explore careers and find jobs. The new site complements CareerOneStop's mySkills myFuture website which helps those with previous work experience match their existing skills to new occupations.

CareerOneStop's New Resume Guide
The Resume Guide (www.CareerOneStop.org/ResumeGuide) will help you create a resume that will stand out in today's job market. The revised Resume Guide features updated sections on embedding keywords in your resume, posting your resume online, and using social networking sites to help get your resume into the right hands.
Apprentice Information

mySkills myFuture Community
CareerOneStop announces the mySkills myFuture Community, a forum for users of the website to share ideas and experiences with their peers. Job seekers, workforce professionals, website developers, and anyone else interested in mySkills myFuture or skills transferability can join at http://community.myskillsmyfuture.org/ to discuss the site and related topics.

Find CareerOneStop and mySkills myFuture outreach and training materials at www.careeronestop.org/outreachtraining. Many materials are available in English and panish. The Newsroom (www.careeronestop.org/newsroom) is home to the CareerOneStop Connections newsletter, What's New, and News and Awards.
Scholarship Finder Update
The Scholarship Finder (www.careeronestop.org/scholarshipfinder) has been updated with over 7,000 available scholarships fellowships, loans, and other financial aid opportuniies to fund your education. Awards may be seected by Award Type, Residence Preference, Study Level, Affiliation, category, or use the Keyword search to search by words and phrases.
Job Clubs
The Department of Labor's Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships has launched a new project to connect job clubs to eah other through a Workforce3One.org Community of Practice (https://partnerships.workforce3one.org/page/job_clubs) Individuals can share best practices, tools, resources, and more.
