Back to School

As a veteran, you have many education and training options.

You may want to learn new skills that will help you find a job, take a class to build on your military experience, or earn a college degree. You may have veterans’ benefits to help you pay for school and achieve any of those goals.

In this section, you’ll find resources to help you answer these questions:

  • What kind of education or training is right for me?
  • How do I find a program or school in my local area?
  • What’s available to help me pay for school?

You can get help from your local County Veterans Service Office. To find yours, select your state below, and look for County Veterans Service Office on the list of state resources. (If you don't see one listed for your state, contact your county courthouse; they should be able to connect you to your local County Veterans Service Office.)
