Looking to hire a veteran?

Then you probably already know the many reasons that veterans make excellent employees. Their military experience has provided them with education, training, values, leadership skills and teamwork experience.

Many veterans also have specific skills that they can put to work in your workplace.  Learn about military occupations that may share skills and work experience with the jobs you need to hire for at the Military-to-Civilian Occupation Translator.

Get Started: Two Steps to Hire a Vet

  1. Post your job opening on the national Veterans Job Bank.
  2. Post your job opening on your state job bank. 
  3. Contact a Veterans Employment Representative at an American Job Center.  Let them know you want to hire a veteran.
