Help: Find State Resources

What does this tool do?

The Find State Resources tool provides a list of websites that businesses or employers may find useful for workforce issues. The resources cover the following topics:

  • Employee Training
  • Hiring
  • Human Resources (HR) Planning
  • Legal and Administrative HR Management
  • Public Funding and Tax Credits

You can select to view a list of resources for any of the fifty U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, or American Samoa. Please note that the list includes only resources for the selected location.  You’ll find national resources for each topic throughout this Business Center website.

How do I get started?

Just select your location from the drop-down box and click “Search” to view a list of state-specific resources.

What can I do with the results?

Click on the titles of any of the resources on your list to visit that website and learn more. Note that those websites will open in a new window; to return to your list of state resources, simple close the new window. To view resources for another location, use the drop-down box at the top of your list of resources.

You can download and save your results as an Excel, Word, RTF or pdf file using the "Download" button at the bottom of your results. You can print or email your results by using the controls in the header at top right.
