Cybersecurity Career Paths, Ladders, Lattices; Communicate Industry Needs Community College Consortium Develops Cybersecurity Career Pathway Arizona
Estrella Mountain Community College, the lead institution in the Arizona Sun Corridor-Get Into Energy Consortium's Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training grant, has developed an innovative Cybersecurity Degree Pathway that relates to the utility industry and the Smart Grid.  The model is based on ETA's Cybersecurity Competency Model, but differs in that it is serpentine, not linear.  As individuals progress along the pathway, coursework must be accompanied by increasing years of related work experience before they can attain the credential.  To read the full case summary, click here:  http://www.careeronestop.org/competencymodel/Info_documents/
