Planning Education and Training

Service members and veterans may want to look for education and training opportunities to help with the transition from a military occupation to a civilian job. Thanks to both their military experience and benefit eligibility, service members have several unique opportunities available. The following sections provide resources for veterans to find education and training programs and learn how to help pay for them. Choose a Program or School includes information about GED programs, high school diplomas, and higher education opportunities. Financial Aid and Scholarships includes information on resources for military members, the Montgomery GI Bill, and general financial aid resources. National Guard Educational Support Center helps Army National Guard (ARNG) soldiers or the spouse of an ARNG soldier, achieve their personal academic goals.
