Main Transitional Resources for Veterans
Make the right career and education decisions after deployment by attending a Transition Assistance Program (TAP) seminar. This three-day workshop helps veterans deal with career, education, and employment decisions. The workshop is available for those separating from the military beginning 12-months prior to separation. Individuals retiring from active duty can begin receiving services 24-months prior to retirement. TAP is offered to all military branches through a partnership among the Departments of Defense, Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, and the Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS).
