Finding a good job when you have a criminal record can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be.  There are lots of people that get good jobs and go on to build successful careers, even with a criminal record.

This website was created to help you with that process. You’ll find tools, information, and action steps to help anyone with a criminal record find a good job, and build a successful and rewarding career.

The “Explore Careers” section will help you identify possible jobs and career fields, based on your interests, skills, and even your criminal record!
If you need a skills boost to get job-ready and stand out to potential employers, the “Get Training” section will help you find training programs in your area, as well as provide information on how to pay for that training.

The “Find A Job” section will help you plan your job search, write a resume, and apply for jobs; as well as provide effective tips for how to talk about your record with potential employers.

If you’re not sure where to start, connecting with someone at a local program can be a huge help. The “State Resources Finder” is a tool we’ve created to help you find local programs that specialize in helping people with criminal records find jobs and grow their careers.

No matter where you are in your career or job search, we hope you’ll find resources to help you on “Job Search Help for Ex-Offenders”. Take the time to look around the website, and if you have questions, email us at info@CareerOneStop.org. We’d love to help you find career success.
