James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program
Organization: James Beard Foundation

Purpose: The James Beard Foundation Scholarship program was established to assist aspiring and established culinary professionals who plan to further their education at a licensed or accredited culinary school or food-focused program. 

To apply, students must be high school seniors or graduates planning to start or continue a course of study at a licensed or accredited culinary school or food-focused program in the 2018-2019 academic year. Additional eligibility requirements may apply for some of the James Beard Foundation scholarships. Students complete one application to be considered for all James Beard Foundation scholarships for which one meets the criteria.

The Foundation for Blended and Online Learning Scholarship Program
Organization: The Foundation for Blended and Online Learning

Purpose: The Foundation for Blended and Online Learning’s mission is to provide graduates of blended and online programs with access to financial support that will allow them the opportunity to achieve their educational goals beyond high school. The scholarship program focuses on awarding scholarships of up to $10,000 to students who have demonstrated the ability to embrace technology to improve their educational experiences, both academically and personally.

To apply, students must be high school seniors who have completed a minimum of five blended or online courses during the last two years of high school and, demonstrate academic achievement or improvement as a direct result of their enrollment in the blended/online learning curriculum. Applicants must be planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire 2018-2019 academic year.
