Peter J. Hengel Thai Scholarship Program
Organization: Peter J. Hengel Thai Scholarship Fund, Scholarship America

Purpose: The Peter J. Hengel Thai Scholarship Fund is supporting a scholarship program to assist male students of Thai descent who plan to continue their education in college. Renewable scholarships are offered for full-time study at an accredited United States institution of the student's choice.
To apply, students must be males of Thai descent, age 23 and under. They must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States (preferably Minnesota) for the entire 2018-19 academic year. Preference will be given to students who are gay.
The financial need of the student will be considered in determining the amount of each award. The scholarship is intended to provide for 100% of the cost of tuition, fees, books and supplies and may be higher, depending upon funds available.
