Applicants must be principal or co-principal investigators must be members of ANNA within the duration of the research project; must share equal responsibility with all other co-investigators for the conceptualization and implementation of the proposed research project; must provide an evidence of their commitment to nephrology nursing experiences and credentials; must be registered nurses who hold a master's or doctoral degree; the contributions of each of the team members must be identified and the application should describe how each investigator's role fits with their expertise and will facilitate completion of the research project. |

Applicants must demonstrate the following; significance and applicability of the EBP project to nephrology nursing or related therapies; for EBP research proposals, sound methodology in accordance with recognized nursing research guidelines; for other EBP, sound methodology and implementation strategies depending on the type of project; for EBP research projects, approval by the appropriate institutional review board; for other EBP projects, support from the institution where the project will be implemented; feasibility and likelihood of successful completion. Applicants must submit the following items in the order specified: cover letter; ANNA Evidence-based Practice Grant Application Checklist; cover sheet; Co-investigators/consultants/collaborators sheet; detailed budget and justification; abstract; research or project plan; timeline for the research/project completion; references; appendices; copy of IRB approval for research studies or letter of support for other projects; curriculum vitae; personal research articles if available; 8 x 10 professional headshot (black and white or color); project proposals should be submitted by e-mail to the ANNA National Office. |
