The DevMountain Scholarship
Organization: DevMountain LLC

Purpose: Our goal at DevMountain is to help people change, gain more perspective, and get more education so that they can start a career they’re proud of. We know that education allows each of us to improve our opportunities in life; that’s why we offer coding courses. But, we are also aware that not everyone has the resources available to get the education they need.

“There are lots of opportunities out there for people to educate themselves,” Cahlan Sharp, founder of DevMountain, said. “Unfortunately what holds people back are the resources to take on those opportunities. So, part of the reason we are doing this scholarship is because we believe in the power of education in all its forms and we want to help people gain access to those forms of education in whatever form they may take.”

We decided to allow this scholarship money to be used at the education institution of the winner’s choice because we believe strongly in any form of education.
