Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards
Organization: Jewish Community Federation
Purpose: The Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards honor Jewish teens who demonstrate remarkable leadership and engagement in community service projects that embody the values of tikkun olam repairing the world. Up to 15 recipients will be awarded $36,000 each to further their project or for their education. Eligible candidates are teens (13-19 years old) who self-identify as Jewish, live in the United States, and who are not compensated for their work. Projects may focus on the Jewish or general community.

Teens may apply directly online by submitting an application by January 8, 2020. Alternatively, teachers, rabbis, community leaders, or any individual aware of the value of the teens leadership may submit a nomination online by December 18, 2019. Nominated teens will then be asked to complete a full application.

The Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards are funded by the Helen Diller Family Foundation, a supporting foundation of the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund.

S2 Foundation Entrepreneurial Scholarship
Organization: S2 Foundation
Purpose: Established to promote entrepreneurship and assist students in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who have demonstrated an interest in business and entrepreneurship, the program will give five local students a scholarship of up to $20,000 for tuition, fees and books. The scholarship will be paid out over the tenure of the pursued degree plan, directly to the college.
