Purpose: Arborjet's "Taking Root" College Scholarship Program helps young students fulfill their dreams of entering careers in the arboriculture industry.

As a leader in the care of America's urban and natural forests, Arborjet is committed to giving promising high school seniors the help and financial support they need to pursue this career path.

Arborjet's "Taking Root" Scholarship Program will recognize 10 graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated achievement in their schools and communities, and who plan to bring their skills and talents to the arboriculture industry. Each will receive a $1,000 scholarship to pursue full-time studies in Forestry, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, Entomology, Environmental Science or a related major at an accredited two-year or four-year college.

Dunkin Donuts Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program
Organization: Dunkin Donuts

Purpose: The 9th Annual Dunkin’ Donuts Philadelphia Regional Scholarship program will award up to 25 $2,000 scholarships to qualified students. Applicants must be high school seniors who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire 2018-19 academic year. They must also reside in Kent or New Castle counties, DE; Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer or Salem counties, NJ; Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton or Philadelphia counties, PA. Scholarships will be awarded based on applicants’ demonstration of “well rounded” character: positive academic record, demonstrated leadership, commitment to school and community activities and experience in a work environment.
